Adventist Voted All-Island Secretary of the Year
North Jamaica Mission congratulates Miss Keisha Schooler, member of the Forrest Seventh-day Adventist Church, Bamboo District of Seventh-day Adventist Churches, St. Ann, Jamaica, on being the All-Island Secretary of the Year 2007/2008.
Born on February 10, Keisha Tameca Schooler is the first child for her parents, Lorraine Morris and Fitzworth Schooler. She attended the Wolmer's High School for Girls, where she was successful in five CXC subjects and the Moneague College where she pursued a diploma in Secretarial studies.
She was employed to the St. Ann Parish Council in July 1998 and has worked in various capacities. Presently, she is the Administrative Assistant to the superintendent.
Keisha believes in charity and that it starts from within. Her extra curricular activities include membership in the St. Ann Parish Council's choir. She became a member of the St. Ann chapter of the Jamaica Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals in 2005 and has been actively engaged in the chapter's activities, particularly the civic programmes. She also assists her mother as a nurse aide for the St. Ann Citizens Association. She enjoys singing (mostly in private) and considers it a joy to delve into the pages of a good murder/mystery novel.
Keisha successfully attained the CPS and CAP rating in 2001 and 2005 respectively. She is currently a second year student at the Northern Caribbean University Brown's Town campus where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science - Human Resource Management major.
Her personal philosophy is 'Serve God and Live Life More Abundantly'.
