Adventist Pastor Admonishes Parents To Start Right, and To Start with God

With the rise of crime and violence against the nation's children, coupled with misdemeanours and indisciplined behaviour of our youth, Seventh-day Adventist Pastor, Nathanael Gracia calls on all parents to be more responsible and to get their act right in taking care of the needs of their children.
He was speaking at the regional launch of Parent's month 2008, spearheaded by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Coalition for Better Parenting at the Brown's Town Seventh-day Adventist Church on Saturday, November 1.

North Jamaica Mission's Rhondene Wint is the 2008 WIU Bible Bowl Winner

North Jamaica Mission's finalist, Rhondene Wint, captured the coveted first place title in the West Indies Union Bible Bowl finals, with a whopping score of 520 points, giving her the highest score standing ever in West Indies Union Conference since the inception of the Bible Bowl Competition in 2004. The book of Isaiah was the course of study for
the competition which took place on Saturday afternoon, November 1, 2008 in the main chapel at Northern Caribbean University.

This was ideally demonstrated by workers, students, and members of the North Jamaica Mission Family who celebrated the 'Day of Kindness' for the first time as a calendered event in the Mission.
