Convention 2007 - "Propelled by the Word"
The St. Ann leg of Convention 2007 was overwhelming! Scores of persons from churches across St. Ann gathered at the Brown's Town S.D.A. Church to fellowship and praise God for taking them through 2006. The keynote speaker was Dr. Herman Ming, Managing Director of West Indies Union Investment Management Limited (IML). In his message, he reminded us to never pass persons who are 'seated at the gate'; we must always offer 'Words of Hope'.

Greetings were brought by Pastor Vincent Peterkin who represented Northern Caribbean University (NCU). He presented a videoclip showing a glance at NCU.

The amount of money collected during the Harvest Ingathering Campaign indicated that many persons are zealous in working to advance the work of God. After listening to the heartrending appeal given by Pastor Michael H. Harvey, President of North Jamaica Mission, many persons were empowered to contribute towards the construction of the Convention and Wellness Center, a project spearheaded by the North Jamaica Mission.

Unity was clearly depicted where, during the Districts Pageantry, church members gave support to their pastors as they presented an overview of their plans and projections of their churches for the ensuing year.

To culminate this wonderful event, three (3) precious souls expressed publicly their love for God by going into the watery grave of baptism.
The Trelawny leg of Convention 2007 will be held at the Falmouth S.D.A. Church on January 28, 2007, starting at 9:00 a.m. Come and be blessed!
