PROFILE

Elder Dane Ellis hails from the parish of Manchester where he was an active member of the Asia Seventh-day Adventist Church. He has served his local church in several capacities including Elder, Treasurer, Triple C Coordinator and A.Y. Leader.

He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Mona, with a B.Sc. in Accounting with a minor in Economics. He is currently a student member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ). He served Northern Caribbean University as Senior Accountant from 1999 to 2002 and Chief Accountant from 2002 to December 2006.

Elder Ellis is married to Claudeen Leith and the union has produced two (2) children: Danae (4) and Nicholas (2).

His philosophy of life is "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom".
