Home/ Trelawny Convention

Hundreds of persons from churches across Trelawny as well as community members attended the Trelawny leg of Convention 2007 which was held at the Falmouth Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Sunday, January 28, 2007 . The keynote speaker was Dr. Patrick Allen, President of West Indies Union Conference.

Dr. Daniel Fider gave a presentation on Northern Caribbean University (NCU). Elder Nigel Coke, Communications Director of West Indies Union Conference informed the members of the church beautification project, The Church's Beauty is our Duty.

The amount of money collected during the Harvest Ingathering Campaign indicated that many persons are zealous in working to advance the work of God. After listening to the heartrending appeal given by Pastor Michael H. Harvey, President of North Jamaica Mission, many persons were empowered to contribute towards the construction of the Convention and Wellness Center, a project spearheaded by the North Jamaica Mission.

To culminate this wonderful event, seven(7) precious souls expressed publicly their love for God by going into the watery grave of baptism.
